Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate is a naturally and sustainably produced sequestrant derived from the Amino Acid Glutamic acid. It can be used to replace EDTA acid and EDTA salts such as Tetrasodium EDTA in a 1:1 ratio. It is an alkaline sequestering agent (also known as chelants, or chelating agents)– it binds up and makes inert impurities such as metal ions of iron, magnesium and calcium, and prevents them from interacting with other ingredients.
