Raw linseed oil is a drying oil that forms a clear seal on timber to preserve and prevent deterioration of wood.

Raw Linseed oil helps wood to retain natural moisture and prevent drying and cracking. It maintains, waterproofs and protects wood and gives an attractive natural finish.

May be used on all types of timber, woodwork, cricket bats, hockey sticks, saw horses, chopping boards etc etc.

Apply liberally to wood with a roller, brush or rag and allow to penetrate into the wood. Linseed oil is very slow drying and can take several weeks to fully cure. Several coats may be applied after the previous coats have been allowed to dry. Mix 1:1 with mineral or vegetable turpentine to shorten the drying time. Wipe away any excess with a clean rag. After use, all rollers, rags and brushes must be thoroughly washed.
